Supported Customer Locations
Countdown API supports retrieving data from the following Customer Locations.
The Customer Location relates to the delivery location of the Ebay shopper and is specified via the customer_location request parameter. Relates to the country in which the customer is located.
Specifying a Zip or Postal Code For some customer_location values a further customer_zipcode parameter can be supplied to localize the request to a specific zip or postal code. The customer_location values that support customer_zipcode are highlighted in the table below.
You can use customer_location (and customer_zipcode to see how a product or search result appears, for example, on ebay.com, to a customer located in a different country. It can be used to identify cross-border shipping data and opportunities as well as local listings in a specific location.
If no value for customer_location is supplied then Countdown API defaults to making the request from the country of the Ebay page requested - i.e. "France" for requests for pages from "ebay.fr".
