# Supported Customer Locations
Rainforest API supports retrieving data from the following Customer Locations.
The Customer Locations is specified via the `customer_location` request parameter.
The Customer Location determines the location that Rainforest uses when retrieving pages from Amazon. This is useful, for example, for seeing details of how a product appears on amazon.com, to a customer located in a different country. Can be used to identify cross-border shipping data and opportunities.
If no value for `customer_location` is supplied then Rainforest defaults to making the request from the country of the Amazon page requested - i.e. "France" for requests for pages from "amazon.fr".
The table below shows which `customer_location` values can be used in combination with requests to which `amazon_domains` . If you require another Amazon domain / customer location combination please contact our support team.
See the [Request Parameters](https://docs.trajectdata.com/rainforestapi/product-data-api/parameters/common) documentation for more information.
